- Hey Justine, I wrote around 70 songs for The Distance and was writing right up until the day before we started recording so some were only days old and other had been floating around for about a year. As for Texas, not sure exactly when but I definitely expect to be there for some shows in 2012. Maybe not as early as Jan/Feb though.
